The Olympians

These are the first 6 gods, the offspring of Kronos and Rhea. These were the gods that overthrew the titans and destroyed Mt. Othrys. Kronos was told that one of his children would overthrow him day, so when Hestia, the first olympian, was born he swallowed her. He did the same to the next four, Demeter, Hera, Hades and Poseidon. Rhea grew tired of this and hid Zeus, hiding him in Mt. Ida on the island of Crete, where he was raised by nymphs. Rhea gave Kronos a rock hidden in baby clothes. He ate it at once. Years passed and Zeus returned, claiming to be a new titan. He gave Kronos a drink made of nectar and mustard. Kronos vomits all he kids out and because they are immortal they are alive and fully grown. Zeus and the gods run away and go to free the cyclopes and the hundred handed ones, who are being held in Tartarus, guarded by a beast called Kampi. They free them and they make the famous weapons; Hades' helm of darkness, Poseiden's trident and Zeus' Lightning bolt. They all attack the titans on Mt. Othrys and the force of the attack severed it in half, making Mt. Olympus the tallest mountain in Greece. The Titans Kronos, Hyperion, Krios, Koios, and Iapetus were banished to Tartarus. Atlas, the strongest titan, was forced to hold up the sky for eternity. The olympians had kids of their own and the council of twelve was made. And so the rivalries started...

Hades, god of the Underworld

Hades' meeting was interrupted by a ghost refusing to move in the line to the fields of ashphodel. He was wanting to see Hades personally, hoping to get into Elysium. Hades wanted to let him in, as he had always sacrifed food Hades. Alas, Peresphone waas gone and so if Hades were to let him, the ghosts would riot, because they would let Peresphone do it. Hades knew he had to be fair, or cause a lot of trouble. He had the ghost judjed and sent to the fields of ashphodel. He wanted to be nice, but he must be fair, unlike his brother. Zeus wanted everything to be blamed on someone, and Hades geussed that a riot in the Underworld would be blamed on himself.

Poseidon, god of the Sea

After Medusa was cursed, Poseidon wanted revenge on Athena. He decided the best way to do was to send a powerful horse rampaging through Athens. Nobody could stop it, a Poseidon was feeling very smug. Athena however, was not. She was mad at Poseidon, thinking he could take his anger out on her patron city like that. She went and killed the horse herself. Poseidon was still happy, seeing as the horse had destroyed half of Athens. Athena wanted to destoy some of Poseidons things, and she did. Poseidon now got mad, and he made an earthquake that leveled Athens. Athena was powerless to do anything else, so Poseidon had won this battle.

Zeus, god of the Skies

Hyperion was trying to break stuff again. Zeus thought he could handle it himself and he told the others that they needn't worry. Hyperion struck Zeus as soon as he appeared. Zeus attempted to stab Hyperion, but he grabbed his arm and shoved him into the ground. Zeus couldn't even look at Hyperion, he was so bright. Hyperion was throwing him around like a ragdoll. He had stabbed Zeus several times by now, and Zeus yelled for the others. They had been watching and waiting for his call. Their combined strength defeated Hyperion easily. Zeus was embarrased, but was grateful to the others. They would make fun of him for years to come, but he was okay as long as it brought everyone together.
